Lighting is achieved with a SB-900 held outstretched 45 degrees on my left hand (i.e. camera left) fired at +2 EV setting while the background is darkened by setting -1 EV on the camera.

Same -1 EV setting on the camera and +2 EV for the remote flash 45 degrees from a high angle on camera right.

Sam and Clara's Wedding

Another brother in Christ gets married!

Some of my friends say that I am almost the de facto budget photographer for my church network. I'm definitely happy to help out provided the couple like the kind of photos I take.

Some shots of the couple at the consolidation room just before their wedding ceremony. I intentionally framed "I believe in you God" for the belief that the foundation of marriage needs to be built upon the Lord.

Late Post: Baby Megan's Full Month

Megan, daughter of Joe and Karen celebrates her first month.
(or should I say, Joe and Karen celebrate their daughter's full month)

And like all newly formed families from my church, they held a baby dedication ceremony at their place.

Unfortunately I was late to catch most of the action, but some gamely helped and posed for these pictures.

Messing around at Mint Bar @ Graze

We weren't too impressed with Bistro @ Da Paolo's. So we came over here to try out the potent concoctions the Girlfriend and I got really "happy" with. As usual, the Mint Bar @ Graze is a place nobody ever notices, which is good, because we get to have the whole place to ourselves over half the time.

From the last time I visited, which was nearly a year ago, they made plenty of updates in the interior decor. It's nevertheless still as cozy as ever. The Mint Specialties are still as good and potent and we got to try out their Mini Wagyu Burgers which was delicious. A highly recommended place for a quiet chill out.

Are you part of the 100K?

Hey, if you never try, you never know. It's like, if you have a dream, it may come true, but if you don't have a dream, then nothing will come true. So try it, you might just get what you ask for!

My church is on this campaign to blessing 100,000 people through prayer. Would you like to be one of those being prayed for?

Below is a list of items you can choose so that is can be done quickly. If you have any specific request, by all means let me know. The more specific the request is, the more effective the prayer will be.

  1. Health
  2. Protection
  3. Inner Peace
  4. Family Harmony
  5. Financial Freedom
  6. Progress in Career
  7. Friendships and Relationships
  8. Wisdom and Intelligence
  9. Direction for the Future
  10. Forgiveness
  11. Eternal Life
  12. Fullness of the Holy Spirit

So what's the catch?

What we would like to get from you is your contact details so that we can follow up in a form of a postcard/email/sms to say that your needs have been prayed for. And if your needs are met, let us know so that it can be a testimony between you, my church and God Himself.

Don't work, how?

Well, honestly, that would be God's problem. If He doesn't work for you, then it's His reputation at stake. And like I said before, it may just work. So no harm trying.

Well, I could always do with more blessings, so how?

Simple.
Leave a private message with your actual name, the items you would like us to pray for.
If you have any specific requests, write it down too.
Provide your email/contact number/mailing address so that we can follow up with you.

For extra measure, pray this prayer (i.e. read it aloud):

Dear Havenly Father, I need Your help and blessings. Thank You for Your love. Thank You for sending Jesus to us so that we may be blessed. Please bless me with <the items you wanted>. Thank You for Your blessings. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.
